Reporting Head : Principal

Purpose of Job

An English teacher is responsible for ensuring that students learn proper grammar, writing, and reading comprehension. They are responsible for creating lesson plans that will teach students the skills they need. A few of the main duties of an English teacher are answering student questions, grading student tests and essays, tracking student progress, and teaching students the importance of English. They also have to communicate to the parents of students.

Academic Requirements

· Create lesson plans for student

Responsible for creating the culture of English speaking in junior section.

· Ensure that the classroom stays orderly

· Encourage students to read out loud in class

· Write progress reports for students

· Create tests for students

· Assign essays and homework to students

· Assign books for students to read.

Able to conduct activities for junior section in english language as per activity calendar of the school

Other Responsibilities

Undertake other reasonable duties as requested by the Head of Department, Head of Faculty or members of the Senior Leadership Team and any duties that the Principal deems necessary for the effective operation of the school

Required Qualification and Experience

• Bachelor Degree with English or Master Degree in English with B.ed
• 3 years of teaching experience as a PRT English
• Comfortable working with students of different levels
• Great speaking and writing skills
• Ability to create lesson plans
• Great interpersonal skills
• Good grammar knowledge
• Knowledge about great works of literature

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
