Position Overview We invite applications for the position of Program Officer – Environmental Programs to support and lead field-level execution of its flagship environmental education and sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to environmental issues, community development, and hands-on project coordination experience. Key Responsibilities Plan, coordinate, and implement school- and community-based environmental programs, including plantation drives, composting units, kitchen gardens, and water conservation initiatives. Liaise with educational institutions, district authorities, and partner organizations to ensure effective program execution and stakeholder engagement. Monitor and evaluate project activities, maintain field reports, data trackers, and ensure timely documentation of progress and impact. Facilitate training sessions, capacity-building workshops, and awareness campaigns for students, teachers, and volunteers. Support convergence with relevant government departments to ensure alignment with policy objectives and sustainable outcomes. Ensure quality assurance and timely reporting to program leadership and donors. Candidate Profile Educational Qualification : Master’s degree in environmental science, Social Work, Development Studies, Education, or a related field. Experience : Minimum 1–2 years of experience in program implementation, preferably within the development or environmental sector. Strong interpersonal, coordination, and communication skills in English and Telugu. Ability to manage multiple tasks in a field-intensive, time-sensitive environment. Willingness to travel extensively to rural schools and project locations across Telangana.
