Production Technician Trainee

Job Description

Assembly Section Learn and assist in assembling components as per standard operating procedures (SOPs). Understand basic fitting, wiring, and fastening methods using hand and power tools. Ensure proper handling of parts and tools during assembly operations. Support visual checks and functional testing under supervision. Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety in the assembly area (5S). Machine Shop Section Learn to operate basic machines such as lathe, drill, CNC, and milling machines. Understand and assist in loading/unloading components safely. Learn basic measurement techniques using Vernier, micrometer, and gauges. Observe tool changes, setting processes, and machine cleaning practices. Adhere to safety, quality, and productivity guidelines. Desired Traits Eagerness to learn and take instructions. Good attendance and discipline record. Willingness to work in any department as assigned. Employment Terms The candidate will be initially engaged under the NATS (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) for a period of 12 months . During the apprenticeship period, training and performance will be monitored regularly. Upon successful completion of the NATS period and based on performance, discipline, and business requirement , the candidate may be considered for regular employment in suitable roles within the organization. The decision regarding confirmation will rest solely with the management. Preferred candidate profile Qualification : ITI (Fitter, Machinist, Turner, Electrician, etc.) or Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical Mechatronics / Production Engineering) or BE (Mechanical / Electrical Mechatronics / Production Engineering). Job Location Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu Only candidates residing in Coimbatore or those willing to relocate to Coimbatore are eligible to apply. Experience : Fresher or (01-03 years). Age : 18 to 25 years preferred.
