Product/Fashion Designer (Kids/Women Wear Export House)

Role & responsibilities We're looking for a talented Product Designer to join our team in Gurgaon. As a Product Designer, you'll play a key role in creating innovative and adorable designs for our kids' wear products. Job Responsibilities: - Design Development: - Create original and creative designs for kids' wear products, including tops, bottoms, dresses, and outerwear. - Develop design concepts, sketches, and prototypes. - Ensure designs meet customer requirements, quality standards, and brand aesthetic. - Product Development: - Work closely with the merchandising team to develop products that meet customer needs. - Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards. - Trend Research: - Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in kids' wear. - Conduct research to identify new design opportunities and inspiration. - Design Documentation: - Create technical packs, spec sheets, and other documentation as needed. - Ensure design files are accurate, complete, andwell-organisedd. Requirements: - Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience in kids' wear design, preferably in an export house. - Education: Degree in Fashion Design, Textile Design, or a related field. - Skills: - Strong design skills, with expertise in kids' wear design. - Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. - Proficiency in design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop). - Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
