Preschool Teacher

Job Summary:

We are seeking a nurturing, energetic, and creative Preschool Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The Preschool Teacher is responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment where children can learn and grow. The ideal candidate has a passion for early childhood education and demonstrates patience, enthusiasm, and strong communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children.
• Foster a safe, welcoming, and stimulating classroom environment that supports social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
• Plan and lead daily activities, including storytelling, arts and crafts, music, movement, and basic academics (letters, numbers, colors, etc.).
• Observe and assess children’s progress and communicate regularly with parents/guardians.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants and other staff to maintain classroom order and cleanliness.
• Promote positive behavior and guide children in resolving conflicts constructively.
• Ensure classroom and materials comply with health, safety, and licensing standards.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required or preferred depending on local regulations).
• Prior experience in a preschool or early childhood setting preferred.
• Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching practices.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Working Conditions:

• Work hours typically follow school hours, with some evening or weekend events.
• Physically active role—may include standing for long periods, lifting children, and engaging in floor activities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
