Power BI

We are looking for a skilled Power BI Tech Lead with more than 5 years of experience in utilizing data visualization and business intelligence tools. The perfect candidate will possess practical knowledge in Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Power Query, and Python, along with a demonstrated track record of leading a BI team with a minimum of 3 members. Your main responsibility will involve spearheading end-to-end BI solutions and collaborating closely with various teams to convert data into valuable insights. As a Power BI Tech Lead, your duties will include designing, developing, and implementing BI dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Qlik. You will be expected to interpret business requirements into technical specifications and create analytical solutions. Furthermore, you will leverage Power Query and DAX to enhance data models and efficiently transform data, as well as build and manage data pipelines using Python when necessary. Additionally, you will engage with stakeholders to gather requirements and generate insights that aid in decision-making processes. In this role, you will also be responsible for guiding and coaching a small team of BI developers, ensuring project quality, consistency, and on-time delivery. Monitoring BI performance, suggesting improvements, ensuring data governance, security, and compliance in BI projects, as well as keeping abreast of emerging BI tools and technologies will also be part of your responsibilities. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in Power BI, complemented by expertise in Tableau and Qlik. Proficiency in Power Query, DAX, and data modeling, as well as strong scripting and data manipulation skills using Python, are essential requirements. A proven track record in leading a BI team of 3 or more members, along with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, is crucial. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is also required. Preferred skills for this role include experience with cloud-based BI tools such as Power BI Service and Azure, familiarity with SQL and data warehousing concepts, and an understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
