JOB Description: We are seeking a skilled PostgreSQL Database Administrator with 2-4 years of experience to manage and optimize our PostgreSQL database systems. Location: Pan India Responsibilities Database Management : Install, configure, and maintain PostgreSQL databases to ensure performance, availability, and security. Performance Monitoring : Monitor database performance, identify areas for improvement, and optimize SQL queries for efficiency. Backup and Recovery : Implement and manage robust backup and recovery procedures to safeguard data integrity. Collaboration : Work closely with development teams to assist in database design and provide database-related support. Security Practices : Apply best practices for data security, manage user access, and ensure compliance with security policies. Troubleshooting : Address database issues promptly and recommend solutions to enhance performance and available resources. Qualifications Education : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience : 2–4 years working as a PostgreSQL DBA or in a similar role. Technical Skills : Strong proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning; familiarity with backup and recovery strategies. Additional Knowledge : Understanding of Linux environments; experience with database security practices and automation tools is a plus. Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
