PLM Configuration Specialist (Teamcenter)

The Indian subsidiary in Bangalore serves the company's global customers by providing engineering and technological solutions. They offer services including drafting, computer-aided design, engineering, solid modeling, finite element analysis, sourcing, business development, and marketing for various sectors. The company is seeking a PLM IT Specialist to join their team in India. The ideal candidate will be an expert in PLM technology, specifically experienced in using the Siemens Teamcenter platform. Responsibilities include designing and implementing solutions for the Engineering team, providing global support for server-side troubleshooting, and customizing PLM tools to align with organizational needs. Key responsibilities of the PLM IT Specialist include collaborating with business users to transform requirements into system-based solutions, driving end-user adoption, identifying opportunities for process improvements, providing domain expertise on complex PLM projects, troubleshooting engineering applications, maintaining server architecture, supporting client/server customizations, and participating in release upgrades. The ideal candidate should have 8-12 years of experience in PLM as a Consultant and Developer, with a focus on Siemens PLM tools. Technical competencies required include expertise in Teamcenter application modules, configuration, BMIDE, ITK, AWC development, PLM concepts, Teamcenter modules, Active Workspace customization, coding languages, web technologies, Teamcenter SOA, JAVA RCP, and Windows server knowledge. Additional competencies sought include effective communication skills, teamwork abilities, problem-solving skills, cross-cultural work experiences, and industry knowledge. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field is required for this position.,
