Role & responsibilities Teach students basic Language skills and develop culture. • Conduct various programmes like essay writing, quizzes, debates, group discussions, and drama to encourage students the use of language skills. • Prepare creative micro lesson plans for effective delivery of each lesson. Preparing teaching aids and materials with live examples to retain the students attention. Engage students with the live role plays for active learning. • Evaluate the students’ knowledge through various exams like tests, assessments and assignments as per the curriculum requirements. • Update with the teaching strategies and techniques for better content delivery. • Participate in conferences, seminars, workshops, staff meetings, continuing professional development programmes and any other school events. • Maintain good rapport with the parents and discuss the student’s performance/issues. • Dedicate to the overall welfare of the students and growth of the institution. • Willing to work creatively with available materials/ resources • Participate in departmental meetings, planning, in-service training activities and invigilation duties as required by the Head of Department or Coordinators. • Promptly pass information to advisors, residential Parents and Coordinators when student’s attendance, academic performance or behaviour is praiseworthy or giving cause for concern. • To be available for work on campus in good time to complete all necessary preparations and meetings before the start of the term.
