This role is for someone with 5+ years of professional experience in backend development with a strong foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts and who is well-versed in technologies like PHP, Yii 2.0 Framework, Node.js with strong expertise in SQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Docker and working knowledge of deploying the Docker-based containerized applications using Jenkins or CI/CD Pipelines. You will play a crucial role in architecting, developing, and optimizing scalable and high-performance backend systems. As an SSE, you will drive technical excellence, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to critical decisions in system design, performance, and DevOps practices. Key Responsibilities: -Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and RESTful APIs. -Lead system architecture, design patterns, and scalability decisions. -Write clean, testable, and efficient code in PHP,Yii 2.0 Framework, Node.js. -Manage and optimize relational (MySQL, SQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Elasticsearch) databases. -Implement and manage Docker-based containerized applications. -Setup and manage CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows. -Collaborate with DevOps to maintain secure, reliable, and scalable environments. -Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices for coding, security, and performance. -Mentor and guide junior developers and help build a culture of technical excellence. Required Skills: -Strong proficiency in PHP and Node.js; Go or Python experience is a plus. -Deep understanding of SQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, Elasticsearch. -Hands-on experience with Docker, container orchestration, and service deployment. -Practical knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI). -Familiarity with DevOps practices, including system monitoring, scaling, and security. -Proficient in using Git and working in collaborative, Agile teams. -Strong problem-solving, debugging, and performance tuning skills. Nice to Have: -Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure. -Knowledge of message queues (RabbitMQ, Kafka) and caching tools (Redis). -Familiarity with microservices architecture and API gateway patterns. -Experience with IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible). Educational Qualification: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
