PGT English Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior English Teacher to teach students from Grade IX to XII under the ICSE/ISC curriculum . The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of English language and literature, strong classroom management skills, and the ability to inspire young minds to appreciate and excel in English. Roles & Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in English Literature and Language to Grades IX–XII. Prepare students thoroughly for ICSE and ISC board examinations, including internal assessments and project work. Create lesson plans that reflect a thorough understanding of the syllabus and promote critical thinking and literary appreciation. Use innovative and interactive teaching techniques, including ICT tools, to enhance student learning. Conduct regular assessments, provide constructive feedback, and maintain academic records. Stay updated with the latest developments in English pedagogy and ICSE/ISC board guidelines. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in English (Hons.); Master’s in English preferred. B.Ed. degree from a recognized institution is mandatory. Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience in English for Grades IX–XII in an ICSE/ISC-affiliated school. Strong command of English (both written and verbal). Experience with ICSE/ISC board exam formats and expectations is a must. Familiarity with modern teaching aids and digital platforms.
