Position Objective:To promote kindness to animals among children aged 8-12 using PETA India’s humane education materials across India both virtually and in-person. Meet with and influence school board and government officials to get humane education included in the official school curriculum, as assigned. Work with PETA India’s online marketing team and other teams as required to publicize PETA India’s humane education work. Prepare and maintain a detailed timeline and agenda for tasks, workshops and events.Create thorough notes after all events and activities to submit to the Manager of Education and Outreach and the Director of PETA India, including what went well, and what we can improve for next time.Work to make young people and educators excited about animal rights through regular online and offline interaction. Explore, consider and recommend other outreach opportunities for children aged 8-12 by keeping abreast of television and online programs, magazines and other media consumed by young people and making recommendations for PETA India’s involvement. Take active part in brainstorming meetings to advance PETA India’s humane education agenda.
