PDI Manager

You will be responsible for overseeing the complete Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) process for new vehicles before customer delivery. It is crucial to ensure that all technical, quality, and safety standards prescribed by Maruti Suzuki are strictly followed during the PDI process. Supervising and coordinating the PDI team, which includes technicians, final inspectors, and support staff, will be a key part of your role. Keeping track of daily PDI records, reports, and vehicle readiness status is essential to maintain operational efficiency. Additionally, you will need to ensure proper vehicle washing, cleaning, accessorizing, and final touch-ups according to the delivery schedule. Identifying and timely rectification of any defects found during the PDI process is of utmost importance. Collaboration with the Sales and Service teams to plan vehicle deliveries and manage workflow will be part of your daily tasks. Regular quality audits and checks on PDI processes should be conducted to uphold operational standards. Managing PDI inventory, tools, and equipment maintenance will also fall under your responsibilities. Training and guiding the PDI team for process improvements and safety compliance is essential for operational excellence. Furthermore, you will need to communicate and coordinate with the workshop and body shop for any additional repairs or approvals required. Candidates from various positions such as Floor Supervisor, Final Inspector, Floor Manager, WM Assistant, and Experienced Technician (with a minimum of 4 years of automotive workshop experience) are eligible to apply. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in automotive dealership workshop operations, with exposure to PDI, quality control, or workshop supervision, is required for this role. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, internet reimbursement, life insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund.
