Job Summary:

We are hiring a skilled Wall Painter with experience in residential, commercial, or industrial wall painting. The ideal candidate should have expertise in surface preparation, priming, putty work, and finishing coats using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment. A keen eye for detail and commitment to safety and quality standards are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare interior and exterior wall surfaces by cleaning, scraping, sanding, and applying putty or primer.
• Mix and match paints to achieve the desired shade and texture.
• Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray guns with consistent quality and coverage.
• Inspect surfaces for flaws or cracks and perform minor plaster or repair work if necessary.
• Execute multiple coating systems including primer, undercoat, and finishing coats.
• Ensure a clean and protected work area by covering floors, furniture, and fixtures with masking sheets or tapes.
• Use appropriate tools and techniques based on the type of paint and surface.
• Maintain tools, brushes, rollers, and spray equipment in proper working condition.
• Follow all safety procedures including PPE use, ventilation practices, and safe handling of chemicals.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and other trades for efficient project execution.

Requirements:

• ITI certification in Painting Technology or relevant trade.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in professional wall painting (interior and exterior).
• Proficient in surface preparation, putty application, primer, texture, and final coat work.
• Familiar with a wide range of paint types including emulsions, distempers, enamels, and waterproof coatings.
• Ability to handle painting tools and equipment effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to finish quality.
• Good physical stamina and ability to work at heights using scaffolding or ladders.
• Knowledge of safety standards and proper PPE usage on-site.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with spray painting techniques.
• Knowledge of textured finishes or decorative painting methods.
• Familiarity with Asian Paints, Nerolac, or other branded systems.
• Basic understanding of color mixing, shine levels, and paint durability.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
