Job Title: Paint Shop Supervisor Positions Open: 3 Men. Location: Sanand GIDC Reports to: Level - 1 Site Incharge, Level - 2: General Manager Operations Job Summary We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Paint Shop Supervisor to oversee and manage our paint department operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading a team of painters and technicians, ensuring that all projects meet our high standards of quality, are completed efficiently, and adhere to safety protocols. This role is crucial for maintaining workflow, managing resources, and ensuring the final product finish is flawless. Key Responsibilities ● Team Leadership & Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate a team of paint shop staff. Schedule shifts, assign tasks, and monitor performance to ensure daily production targets are met. ● Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections of work in progress and finished products to ensure they meet stringent quality standards and client specifications. Implement corrective actions to resolve any quality issues. ● Process Management: Oversee the entire painting process, from surface preparation (sanding, masking, cleaning) to paint mixing, application, and finishing. ● Inventory & Equipment Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of paints, solvents, and other supplies. Ensure all equipment, including spray guns, booths, and safety apparatus, is properly maintained and in good working order. ● Safety & Compliance: Enforce all workplace safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and handling of hazardous materials. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. ● Workflow Coordination: Liaise with other departments (e.g., production, assembly) to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow, minimizing downtime and delays. ● Reporting: Prepare and maintain production reports, quality logs, and employee performance records. Qualifications and Skills ● In-depth knowledge of various painting techniques, materials, and equipment (e.g., spray painting, powder coating). ● Strong understanding of surface preparation and finishing processes. ● Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. ● Proven ability to manage a team and coordinate workflow effectively. ● Strong problem-solving skills and a keen eye for detail. ● Proficiency in quality control principles and safety standards. ● Basic computer skills for reporting and inventory management. Experience ● A minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience in a professional paint shop or a similar industrial finishing environment is required. ● Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role is highly preferred.
