INDIA LLP Job Title: Paint Shop Painter Department: Production / Paint Shop Location: Rohtak Reports To: Paint Shop Supervisor / Production Manager Employment Type: Full-time Salary: 2.5 lpa Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paint Shop Painter to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for surface preparation, mixing and applying paints, and ensuring high-quality finishes on aluminum bicycle frames and truss components as per company standards. Key Responsibilities: Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, masking, and priming. Mix paints to achieve desired colors and consistency as per specifications. Apply coatings using spray guns, powder coating equipment, or other appropriate tools. Ensure uniform and smooth paint application without runs, sags, or defects. Follow SOPs and quality control procedures to maintain high finish standards. Maintain and clean painting equipment and tools. Monitor drying and curing processes to ensure quality. Identify and rectify paint defects such as orange peel, fisheyes, or poor adhesion. Adhere to safety and environmental regulations within the paint shop. Assist in paint inventory management and reporting material requirements. Work collaboratively with quality control and assembly teams. Requirements: Minimum 25 years of experience in industrial or automotive painting (experience in bicycle or aluminum product painting preferred). Knowledge of powder coating and wet painting processes. Familiarity with different paint types (e.g., epoxy, enamel, polyurethane). Ability to read and understand technical drawings or color codes. Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Willingness to work in shifts if required.
