Job Description

Execute and ensuring the correct packaging is used for specific product ranges and that packaging is done in line with the company standards.
Ensure cleanliness of Production/Packing area and Production/Packing machines in compliance with food safety guidelines
Mechanically inclined individual who can help troubleshoot their system
Ability to perform quality checks during the run, weights, seals and appearance of package
Perform line change over, set up, start up, perform room cleaning and line cleaning
Report malfunctions or errors to supervising staff immediately and relay important information about the issue
Adhering to the safety regulations and protocol implemented in the packaging area.
Apply labels and transfer products to the final shipping area, keeping them organized to aid in shipping crews job
Complete paperwork and other minor administrative tasks at the beginning and end of your shift, carefully ensuring all information is entered correctly and clearly
Self-motivated, goal oriented, quality driven and capable of working independently with little supervision
Ability to effectively communicate with peers and Supervisors
Must possess the ability to work as a positive team member
Willingness to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays based on business need
