Oracle retail - RMS testers

As a QA Engineer specializing in Inventory Systems within Oracle Retail, you will collaborate with a diverse team to comprehend business and functional requirements. Your key responsibility will be to lead quality assurance efforts for Inventory, Supply Chain, and Finance projects. By implementing best practices, your focus will be on ensuring that the Inventory platform meets the necessary standards of scalability and reliability to support the expanding business operations effectively. You will play a vital role in ensuring that business requirements and solutions are thoroughly understood, allowing for the creation of comprehensive test cases and strategies to minimize production defects. Utilizing your expertise with the Oracle Retail Suite of Products, including RMS, ReSA, RPM, and RIB, you will work closely with other QA teams to design test cases and execution plans, ensuring a robust testing process for all functionalities developed. In addition to your hands-on involvement with Oracle Retail applications, your role will involve collaborating with the Test Automation team to develop automation scripts specific to Inventory operations. Troubleshooting issues using analytical reasoning and supporting the development of automation scripts will be crucial aspects of your day-to-day activities. Key Qualifications & Technical Expertise: - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field - 5+ years of experience in designing and QA of Oracle Retail Applications (RMS, ReSA, RPM, RIB, RSE services) - Proficiency in Oracle Retail customizations - Familiarity with selenium-based test automation frameworks Desirable Skills: - Basic understanding of cloud-based infrastructure and web services - Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate initiative, and manage workload efficiently to deliver high-quality results - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Experience with Waterfall & Agile methodologies - Previous exposure to high-performing transaction systems In this role, you will contribute significantly to the quality control and assurance processes within the Inventory Systems domain of Oracle Retail.
