Job Description

You will be providing expert technical support on Optical LAN products, collaborating with partners, customers, and regional teams to swiftly and effectively resolve issues. Your role involves closely working with partners and end customers, addressing their Optical LAN queries, and offering solutions to product issues. Additionally, you will closely cooperate with regional teams such as CARE and Customer Engineering to handle customer issues efficiently. Continuously driving for product improvements is a key aspect of your responsibilities, utilizing your technical expertise to enhance existing technical customer documentation and collaterals. This includes fine-tuning materials like MOPs, application notes, technical flyers, and product documentation updates for partners. You will also collaborate with R&D, PLM, and other functional teams to align validation activities with product objectives and work with local teams to understand real-world customer deployments and future requirements. As a qualified candidate, you should possess a Graduate or Masters in engineering with at least 4 years of practical experience in taking traces and logs on-site at customer locations. You should have experience in testing NMS/EMS products and Cloud-based solutions, along with a background in customer-facing roles. A willingness to travel for partner and customer site visits is also required. It would be advantageous if you have knowledge of the software development lifecycle and testing, test case design, test planning, and methodologies. Additionally, familiarity with PON technology, L2 switching architecture, Ethernet protocols, VLAN handling, MAC handling, ARP, DHCP, IGMP, 802.1x, QoS, LLDP-MED, and PoE would be beneficial.
