Ideal Candidate Profile – Office Assistant / Helper (Reception/OPD Area) Gender Preference: Female Age Range: 25 to 35 years Minimum Education: Higher Secondary (+2) pass Languages Required: Local Language: Tamil (fluent – speaking and understanding) Other Language: English (basic understanding and communication) Personal Traits & Skills: Physically active and energetic Polite and patient in dealing with patients and staff Good communication skills Willingness to perform legwork and multitasking Ability to follow instructions and hospital protocols Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Transporting Patient Files: Carry patient files from reception to doctors, nurses, and diagnostic departments, and return them once reviewed. Escorting Patients: Physically guide or assist patients (especially elderly or disabled) to departments like X-ray, Lab, Pharmacy, etc. Queue Management: Help patients form and maintain orderly queues, ensuring smooth flow of OPD consultation. Assisting at Reception Desk: Support receptionists by collecting forms, distributing tokens, and providing basic directions to patients. Delivering Test Reports: Carry and deliver diagnostic reports (e.g., blood test, X-ray) between departments and to consulting doctors. Supporting Elderly/Disabled Patients: Assist with wheelchairs or support walking patients who need help moving around the hospital. Sanitization & Cleanliness Support: Ensure patient areas (like chairs, waiting rooms) are tidy, and report any spillage or hazards to housekeeping. Stocking and Fetching Supplies: Replenish basic items like forms, gloves, hand sanitizers, or files as directed by the nurse or receptionist.
