Node Js Backend Developer

Job Description

You will be responsible for developing high-quality, maintainable, and scalable backend applications using Node.js, TypeScript, PostgreSQL and associated frameworks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop new features, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot, and debug complex issues. You are expected to continuously learn and keep up to date with best practices and better technologies. You will work closely with the UI/UX designer and help bridge the gap between User experience design and technical implementation. Responsibilities Development of complex web applications while ensuring best practices and design patterns Develop reusable components and functions to maintain consistency across applications Design and develop scalable RESTful APIs and microservices Implement efficient database schemas and optimize query performance Handle server-side security, data validation, and business logic Set up and maintain development infrastructure including repository architecture, deployment pipelines and server infrastructure Optimize application performance for speed, scalability and reliability Requirements Expertise in building production-grade backend applications using Node.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. Experience in Database Design and REST API setup using PostgreSQL and NodeJS. Proficiency in integrating third party services using NodeJS, Axios and third party SDKs Hands-on experience working with Database migrations, Cron jobs and Job queue systems. Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and development infrastructure Excellent communication, teamwork skills and ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams as well as clients Care deeply about product experience and are driven to put great products in the hands of users Required Candidate profile As the old-world collapses and new digital world is being built around us, we are offering selected candidates an opportunity to make a mark in the ever-changing world of internet communications.
