Key Responsibilities: Monitor and curate global news stories that align with humanitarian and Christian values. Conduct thorough fact-checking and verification of news sources Identify trending topics and emerging stories relevant to our audience Maintain relationships with international news sources and correspondents Collaborate with editors to develop engaging content for YouTube, Instagram, X, and Facebook Adapt news stories for different platform formats and audience preferences Create compelling headlines, captions, and descriptions optimized for each platform Monitor audience feedback and engagement metrics across all platforms Respond to comments and messages in a timely and professional manner Analyze performance data to optimize content strategy and timing Create and adapt content in Tamil, English, and Hindi to reach diverse audiences Ensure cultural sensitivity and appropriate context for different linguistic communities Required: Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Mass Media, or related field 2-3 years of professional journalism or digital media experience Fluent written and verbal communication in English Strong Christian faith and understanding of biblical values Proficiency in social media management tools and analytics platforms Excellent research and fact-checking abilities Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects Strong ethical standards and commitment to truthful reporting Preferred: Working proficiency in English, Tamil, and Hindi (optional). Experience with live streaming or real-time content creation Background in international journalism or global affairs reporting Basic video editing and graphic design skills Understanding of SEO principles and digital content optimization Knowledge of social media algorithms and best practices Experience managing online communities or social media accounts.
