Assist Neuro-physician in diagnose and treat neurological diseases and disorders. To perform noninvasive neurological tests on patients as directed by physicians and use a variety of electroneruodiagnostic equipment to perform these tests. Essential duties and responsibilities To conduct diagnostic procedures: Electroencephalography (EEG), Evoked potential (EP), Long term monitoring (LTM), Polysomnography (PSG), Nerve conduction studies (NCS), and Intraoperative Neuromonitoring (IONM), Electromyography Video EEG Visual evoked potential and brainstem auditory evoked response VEP and BERA To take medical history Documents the clinical condition of patients Understand and employ the optimal use of EG, EP, PSG, and NCS equipment; and apply adequate recording electrodes Interface between EEG, EP, PSG, and NCS equipment and other electrophysiological devices and procedures Recognizes and understands EEG/EP/NCS/sleep activity displayed Manage medical emergencies in the laboratory Prepare a descriptive report of recorded activity for the interpreting physician. Laboratory management Working conditions Will work in different Shifts of 8.5 hours a day. May have to be on call in case of any emergency. Prolonged monitoring hours. Skills & Abilities Should have very good assisting skill. Should have basic knowledge of computers. Should be polite & good in communication while handling patient. Considerable individual initiative, reasoning skill, and sound judgment
