Job Title: Network Engineer Location: Bangalore, India Experience: 3+ Years Employment Type: Full Time Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our IT Infrastructure team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in networking technologies and a proven track record of designing, implementing, and maintaining robust network systems across LAN, WAN, and SD-WAN environments. Key Responsibilities Design and implement new network solutions or improve the efficiency of current networks (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN). Monitor and ensure network uptime for LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi. Perform fault investigations, manage incident/problem/change processes. Administer routing/switching protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, BGP, HSRP, GLBP, STP, VLAN, VTP, NAT, PAT, etc. Configure and manage VPN, IPSEC tunnels, Load Balancers, IDS/IPS systems. Ensure network and data security including audits, device hardening, firmware updates, and compliance with internal standards. Manage and maintain network assets including installation, AMC, warranty, and asset lifecycle. Collaborate with vendors and internal IT teams for project delivery and issue resolution. Conduct and participate in weekly and monthly internal and vendor reviews. Maintain complete and accurate documentation for changes, configurations, and processes. Handle annual budget planning for network infrastructure ensuring cost-effectiveness. Key Skills & Technologies L2, L3 Networking TCP/IP, VPN, IPSEC, Load Balancer Routing Protocols: BGP, GLBP, HSRP Switching Protocols: STP, VTP, VLAN, CDP Network Security: IDS/IPS, Firewall, Auditing Tools: Wi-Fi Controllers, IP Phones, PBR Network Management & Monitoring Change, Incident, Problem, and Capacity Management Qualifications Bachelors Degree in Engineering (BE) Cisco Certification (CCNA/CCNP/CCIE preferred) 3+ years of hands-on experience in network design, administration, and troubleshooting.
