Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Administer, configure, and maintain network hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls (Sophos preferred) , and wireless access points. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime and performance. Manage and maintain Active Directory and related authentication and authorization infrastructure. Install, configure, and maintain HP servers including backups and updates. Oversee and manage CCTV network systems ensuring continuous recording and secure access. Implement and monitor network security policies to safeguard organizational data and systems. Maintain documentation of network configurations, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting steps. Collaborate with other IT staff to support internal systems and users. Develop and use scripts in Python (optional but preferred) for automation, monitoring, and reporting. Preferred candidate profile: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. Proven experience as a Network Administrator or similar role. In-depth knowledge and experience with: Active Directory / Group Policy Sophos Firewall (configuration, policies, troubleshooting) HP Server architecture and maintenance CCTV system networks and IP camera setup Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and LAN/WAN technologies. Familiarity with Linux and Mac Platform. Familiarity with network monitoring tools and diagnostic techniques. Basic to intermediate experience in Python for network automation or scripting. Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure/Windows Server, Sophos Certified Engineer, or CCNA are a plus.
