Network Administrator

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Network Administrator to join our IT team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring its security, and providing support to our users. Responsibilities Manage and monitor network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers. Ensure network security through proper configuration and implementation of security measures. Troubleshoot and resolve network issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime. Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity. Maintain network documentation and update inventory records. Collaborate with IT support teams to maintain a seamless network environment. Skills and Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-10 years of experience in network administration or a related role. Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and security products. Proficiency in network monitoring tools and software (e.g., Wireshark, SolarWinds). Knowledge of Linux and Windows server environments. Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
