Key Responsibilities: · Analyze blood, fluid, and tissue samples to detect abnormalities. · Basic understanding of Hemoglobinopathies, Inborn Errors of Metabolism (IEM), Newborn Screening, rare disorders. · Support the functioning of the laboratory by supervising processes related to sample collection, processing, testing, and reporting. · Maintain lab operations in accordance with ISO 15189:2022 Standards and other regulatory bodies. · Conduct periodic training sessions for laboratory technicians and junior staff on sample handling, test procedures, safety protocols, and documentation practices. · Conduct internal audits to evaluate compliance and performance. · Take part in institutional or independent research projects. Contribute to scientific publications, attend medical conferences, and stay updated with advancements in diagnostic techniques.
