NabTech Engineering Pvt.Ltd. Location: Pune, Maharashtra, India. Salary: (DOE) Role: Permanent (On-site) Responsibilities: Inspect raw materials, in-process components, and finished machined parts. Ensure all parts meet specified tolerances and quality standards before approval. Operate and read a wide range of measuring instruments: micrometers, calipers, height gauges, bore gauges, etc. Verify measurements against technical drawings and GD&T requirements Record inspection results accurately on inspection reports, check sheets, or quality control software. Maintain documentation for traceability and quality audits. Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and specifications. Understand and apply GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols. Identify and document nonconforming parts or processes. Segregate defective materials and initiate nonconformance reports (NCRs). Work closely with machinists, CNC programmers, and other engineers to resolve quality issues. Provide feedback on manufacturing processes that impact quality. Ensure inspection tools and gauges are properly calibrated and maintained. Report any damaged or out-of-tolerance inspection equipment. Follow ISO 9001 or other relevant quality management system procedures. Support internal and external audits with appropriate documentation and knowledge. Contribute to root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action processes (CAPA). Recommend improvements to inspection methods or manufacturing practices to reduce defects. Adhere to safety protocols when inspecting heavy or hazardous parts. Maintain a clean and organized inspection area and shop floor. Qualifications: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/B-Tech. Certification in quality control is preferred. A minimum of 4 years of experience in a similar role.
