Job Description:We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD Designer to join our dynamic engineering and fabrication team. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating 2D/3D technical drawings for mechanical components, sheet metal parts, and assemblies related to railway, cleanroom, and electronic enclosure projects. Key Responsibilities:Prepare 2D and 3D CAD drawings for fabrication and manufacturing using AutoCAD (and optionally SolidWorks). Create detailed part drawings, assembly drawings, and bill of materials (BOMs). Modify existing designs based on engineering or client feedback. Collaborate with production and quality control teams to ensure the accuracy of designs. Maintain organized records of all designs and revisions. Interpret technical specifications and product standards (IRS, IS, RDSO, etc.). Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and client teams to clarify design requirements. Requirements: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Draftsmanship or related field. Proficiency in AutoCAD 2D & 3D. Knowledge of SolidWorks or Inventor is a plus. Minimum 2-3 years of experience in fabrication / mechanical design. Familiarity with sheet metal design, welding symbols, GD&T, and manufacturing processes. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents. Good communication and teamwork skills.
