Job Title: Waiter / Waitress Location: Oryx Village Restaurant Kanhangad Department: Food & Beverage Service Job Summary: The Waiter/Waitress is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service. They ensure guest satisfaction by serving food and beverages efficiently, maintaining cleanliness, and promoting a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities: Greet and escort guests to their tables in a courteous and professional manner. Present menus, explain daily specials, and answer questions regarding menu items. Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen and bar. Serve food and drinks promptly, following service standards. Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or complaints professionally. Clear tables, reset for the next guests, and maintain overall cleanliness of the dining area. Process payments accurately (cash/card) and handle billing inquiries. Requirements: Proven experience as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role preferred. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and multitasking skills. A positive attitude and passion for hospitality. Tally Operations: Ensure accurate and timely entry of all financial data in Tally software. Compliance: Maintain compliance with tax regulations, GST filings, and other statutory requirements.
