As a Solution Architect, you will play a key role in producing solution designs, technical specifications, and architecture documentation for maintaining, improving, or creating new digital systems and products. Your responsibilities will include executing technical direction to deliver optimal solution designs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build reusable and modern component architectures, and analyzing the internal technology landscape to identify opportunities for cross-organizational alignment. Additionally, you will review and validate new developments and in-life products/services for seamless integration and contribute to enhancing design and delivery capabilities for end-to-end technical solutions. Your role will also involve supporting other Digital disciplines in implementing the target architecture, identifying, containing, and reporting solution risks and gaps through governance processes, and ensuring that proposed solutions align with Win Price strategies. Effective communication and influencing skills across all levels of the organization will be crucial, as you proactively explore new technologies and approaches that may improve work processes and share insights with the wider team. Understanding key regulatory requirements such as Ofcom, PCI, EU GDPR, and the Digital Economy Act will also be essential to ensure compliance in digital solutions and products. In terms of skills required, you must have at least 5 years of demonstrable experience as a Solution Architect and hands-on experience in Front-End & Back-End Technologies like React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and Node.js. Proficiency in building Mobile Apps using Flutter from the ground up is necessary, along with strong experience in developing web applications and understanding new web technologies. You should also be familiar with architecture methodologies, frameworks, and modeling languages, and have experience with solution architecture within an Agile framework. Experience with a broad range of software engineering processes, technologies, and best practices, as well as developing System Architecture Design Documents and Integration Flows, is expected. Building/hosting highly available applications on major cloud providers based on microservice architecture, using AUTH technologies like OAuth2 and LDAPS/SAML, and expertise in cloud principles and serverless computing concepts are also essential skills. Effective collaboration using version control systems like Git, strong documentation skills, adaptability to learn new technologies, and excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills are key requirements for this role. Additionally, having a strong background in the Telecom Domain, content management systems (headless and headed), identity & access management, and a TOGAF Certification would be considered advantageous. Your commitment to continuous learning, ability to manage changing business and technical requirements in a dynamic environment, and dedication to building strong relationships with both business and technical stakeholders will be critical for success in this role.,
