Role & responsibilities Develop and maintain MIS reports and dashboards using advanced Excel functions such as VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and Macros. Analyze complex data sets to provide insights and recommendations for business decision-making. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency through regular audits and validations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver customized reports. Automate manual reporting processes to improve efficiency and reduce turnaround time. Train and support end-users in utilizing MIS tools effectively. Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in MIS and Excel functionalities. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Proven experience (X years) as an MIS Specialist or similar role. Advanced proficiency in Excel (formulas, functions, pivot tables, macros) and other MIS tools. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders. Preferred Skills: Experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL) is a plus. Certification in Excel (e.g., Microsoft Office Specialist) would be advantageous.
