Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate English teacher to join our middle school team for Grades 6–8 under the IGCSE curriculum. The ideal candidate should possess a strong command of English language and literature, be well-versed with the Cambridge framework, and have experience in delivering engaging, learner-centered lessons that foster critical thinking, creativity, and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging and structured lessons in English Language and Literature aligned with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum.
• Develop lesson plans, learning objectives, and assessments that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
• Teach key concepts including reading comprehension, creative writing, grammar, poetry, and literary analysis.
• Use differentiated instructional strategies to support learners at various ability levels.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and inquiry.
• Prepare students for internal assessments and eventual IGCSE checkpoints or progression to higher levels.
• Provide regular feedback to students and parents regarding progress, strengths, and areas of improvement.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and behavior.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, department meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
• Integrate technology effectively to enhance teaching and learning outcomes.
• Encourage reading habits and language enrichment through activities such as debates, storytelling, book clubs, and writing competitions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
