Key Responsibilities:1. Academic Planning & Instruction

• Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics as per the prescribed syllabus.
• Use interactive, student-centered teaching strategies that promote understanding and retention.
• Incorporate maps, timelines, case studies, and real-life examples to make social studies relatable and interesting.

2. Curriculum Implementation

• Develop yearly and weekly lesson plans aligned with the school’s curriculum and NEP 2020 objectives.
• Integrate critical thinking, inquiry-based learning, and project-based tasks in classroom activities.
• Encourage interdisciplinary connections with other subjects like science, language, and math.

3. Assessment & Evaluation

• Conduct regular formative and summative assessments, including map work, assignments, quizzes, and presentations.
• Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and assessment results.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback to support student progress.

4. Classroom Management

• Maintain discipline and foster a respectful, inclusive, and positive classroom environment.
• Use student behavior management strategies aligned with school policy.
• Adapt teaching methods to address the diverse learning needs and styles of students.

5. Student Engagement & Enrichment

• Organize field trips, heritage walks, exhibitions, debates, and social science week activities.
• Motivate students to take interest in current affairs and global events.

6. Collaboration & Communication

• Coordinate with other subject teachers for cross-curricular activities and theme-based learning.
• Participate actively in staff meetings, school functions, and parent-teacher meetings (PTMs).
• Maintain regular communication with parents to report on student progress and behavior.

7. Professional Growth

• Attend training workshops, CBSE/ICSE capacity-building programs, and internal professional development sessions.
• Stay updated with educational trends, curriculum changes, and innovative teaching methodologies.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Educational Qualification:

B.A./M.A. in History/Geography/Political Science or related field + B.Ed. (mandatory)

• Experience:

Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level preferred.

• Tech-savviness (for digital teaching tools like Google Classroom, PPTs, YouTube, etc.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
