Once You Are Here, You Will:
- Test Automation Frameworks:
- Develop and execute robust test automation frameworks and suites to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software applications.
- Evaluate and maintain both manual and automated test cases and procedures, ensuring their effectiveness and relevance.
- Conduct load and stress tests utilizing enterprise-level test automation tools to assess system performance and stability.
- Results Analysis and Reporting:
- Interpret test results and meticulously prepare comprehensive test reports for stakeholders.
- Actively participate in project-wide reviews of requirements, system architecture, and detailed design documents.
- Act as a key point of contact for fellow test engineers, providing expertise and support for their automation needs.
- Manage and maintain physical, virtualized, and simulated test environments for optimal testing conditions.
- Identify and resolve issues arising during the integration of application software with other software components.
- Code Coverage Assessment:
- Collaborate in the review process to determine the code coverage of unit tests, ensuring comprehensive testing.
- Defect Lifecycle Management:
- Manage defects from identification through retest and resolution, maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the defect lifecycle.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience using test automation tools such as Selenium/Cucumber/Java or Selenium/C#.net/Spec Flow or similar frameworks.
- 3+ years of experience in designing functional and end-to-end test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- 3+ years of experience in software testing and ability to write test scripts with minimum guidance.
- 1+ years of experience in defect management, ensuring timely identification, documentation, and resolution.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity in at least one performance testing tool.
- Familiarity with Behavior-Driven Design (BDD) principles and the use of Cucumber (or similar) testing frameworks.
- Good understanding in AMQ, WMQ and Kafka.
- Experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Additional experience in mobile test automation is considered a significant advantage.
- Experience planning, designing, and implementing testing strategies and automation infrastructure.
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams.
