Job Title: MEP Draughtsman Department: MEP Design Location: SURAT Experience: 2 - 6 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary : We are seeking a detail-oriented MEP Draughtsman with hands-on experience in preparing MEP drawings (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing & Firefighting) using AutoCAD. The ideal candidate will support the design team in producing accurate, high-quality construction and coordination drawings for various residential, commercial, and infrastructure projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare and revise detailed 2D drawings for HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drainage, and fire fighting systems using AutoCAD . Coordinate with design engineers to receive markups and convert design concepts into construction-ready drawings. Assist in clash detection drawings and coordinated MEP layouts for on-site execution. Develop as-built drawings , shop drawings, schematic diagrams, and riser diagrams. Maintain drawing logs, CAD files, and revision history in an organized manner. Ensure all drawings adhere to internal CAD standards and industry codes (IS/NBC). Support site teams by issuing updated and approved drawings in a timely manner. Collaborate with architects, civil teams, and other disciplines to ensure drawing consistency. Qualifications ITI/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Civil Drafting or related discipline. 2 - 6 years of experience as an MEP Draughtsman in a consultancy or contracting firm. Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) . Good understanding of MEP systems and standard symbols used in drafting. Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
