We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in Chennai, India. The ideal candidate will have 1-6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and machinery. This role involves hands-on work with various mechanical tools and equipment, ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Assist in the assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical systems and equipment. Conduct regular inspections to ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to improve mechanical processes and performance. Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed on equipment. Skills and Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. 1-6 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related roles. Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics. Experience with mechanical tools and equipment, including lathes, milling machines, and hand tools. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Knowledge of safety standards and practices in mechanical maintenance. Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
