Job Title : Robotics Programmer Location : [Pune] Job Type : Robotics Programming Department : Robotics Engineering / Software Development Job Overview : We are seeking a highly skilled Robotics Programmer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, testing, and implementing software for robotic systems, focusing on ensuring the precise control, automation, and integration of robotics into manufacturing or research processes. You will work closely with engineers to design, program, and optimize robotic systems and software. Key Responsibilities : Develop and Program Robotic Systems : Design, develop, and optimize software that controls and powers robotic systems and processes. Algorithm Development : Implement algorithms for motion planning, object recognition, and autonomous decision-making. Integration : Integrate robotic systems with sensors, actuators, and other components to enable full functionality. Test and Debug : Perform rigorous testing and debugging of robotic systems to ensure reliable and efficient performance. Maintain and Update Software : Continuously improve the robotic software with bug fixes, updates, and enhancements. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams : Work closely with mechanical, electrical, and hardware teams to ensure smooth integration of software with hardware components. Real-time Control Systems : Implement real-time control systems to interact with hardware efficiently. Documentation : Write clear and detailed documentation for code and development processes to facilitate collaboration and maintenance. Performance Optimization : Work on optimizing robotic algorithms and software to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability. Research and Innovation : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, research, and advancements in robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to continuously innovate. Required Qualifications : Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred). Experience with Robotics Programming : At least [X] years of experience working with robotics or automation systems, including hands-on experience with programming robotic hardware and software. Strong Programming Skills : Proficiency in programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or ROS (Robot Operating System). Robotic Control Systems : Experience working with control algorithms for motion planning, pathfinding, and real-time decision making. Experience with Sensors and Actuators : Familiarity with sensor integration Familiarity with Simulation Tools : Experience with simulation tools like Gazebo, V-REP, or MATLAB for testing and developing robotic systems. Experience with Embedded Systems : Knowledge of embedded programming is a plus. Understanding of AI & Machine Learning : Knowledge of how machine learning and AI can be applied to robotics for autonomy, object detection, and decision making. Problem-Solving Skills : Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities. Preferred Qualifications : Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) or Robot Development Frameworks . Knowledge of Computer Vision and integration with robotics. Familiarity with SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) , path planning , or AI-based robotic algorithms . Understanding of 3D modeling and simulation tools like SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or other CAD tools. Experience in IoT integration in robotic systems.
