Job Description

As a Manager/Senior Manager in Embedded Hardware Design Engineering at Lauritz Knudsen Electrical and Automation, a unit of Schneider Electric India Pvt. Ltd., located in Mumbai, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronics hardware, as well as testing it. Your duties will include power supply design involving SMPS topologies, DC-DC converters, and high-frequency transformer design. You will also work on analog and digital circuit design, signal integrity simulation, IGBT/MOSFET gate drivers design, PWM techniques, and snubber design. Moreover, you will be involved in EMI/EMC filter design implementation in electronics circuit design to ensure compliance with standards such as Surge, EFT, ESD, CE, CS RE, RS, among others. Additionally, your responsibilities will include heatsink calculations, component selections like capacitors, LDOs, inductors, X and Y capacitors, as well as knowledge of various IEC, CE, and UL standards. Furthermore, you will need to have an understanding of PCB layout, review, various communication protocols like RTU, USB, CAN, TCP, Profibus, from a hardware design perspective, and knowledge of reliability testing methods such as HALT and ALT. Your functional competencies should include embedded hardware design, EMI/EMC standard understanding, and simulation skills. To excel in this role, you should possess effective communication skills, be a team player as well as an individual contributor, and demonstrate creativity and a willingness to learn.
