Job Description

You will be responsible for designing special purpose Machine Automation solutions from concept to final design, ensuring cost-effective and innovative solutions to gain a competitive edge and secure proposals. Your tasks will include collecting project scope, promoting creativity and innovation in designs, and training new team members on design and assembly processes. Additionally, you will conduct concept/design presentations to clients and internal stakeholders, participate in periodic performance assessments, and focus on error-free designs that prioritize easy assembly and reliability. Key Requirements: - Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks is essential. - Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, construction methods, and assembly techniques is preferred. - Experience in designing 5-axis and various types of Special Purpose Machines (SPM). - Ability to lead a team and demonstrate self-motivation. - Familiarity with actuation and manipulation technologies, mechanical control systems, gears, cams, hydraulics, pneumatics, and power transmission systems. - Knowledge of CAD/CAE modeling, simulation, kinematics, dynamics, and other relevant software tools. - Previous experience in developing design process SOPs, BOM preparation, standard parts selection, and expertise in 3D printing, tooling, machining, and prototyping.
