Maintenance Electrician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Electrician to oversee and carry out maintenance of electrical systems and infrastructure across the hospital. The ideal candidate will handle electrical breakdowns, ensure preventive maintenance, and support hospital operations in compliance with NABH, ISO, and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

· Carry out daily inspection and maintenance of hospital electrical systems and equipment.

· Attend to breakdowns and urgent maintenance requests promptly.

· Coordinate with external service providers (plumbers, electricians, carpenters, etc.) as needed.

· Maintain and update breakdown, preventive maintenance, and safety registers.

· Oversee the functioning of key utilities like A/C units (AHU & VRF), STP, Gas Plant, Softener Plant, and Fire Safety systems.

· Ensure smooth operation of power backup (generator) during EB power failures.

· Support the maintenance of sterilisation equipment, OT A/C, and other clinical infrastructure.

· Ensure compliance with NABH, ISO, and safety standards.

· Work in all shifts (On a rotation basis).

Candidate Profile:

Qualifications Needed:

Education: ITI (B Licence) or Diploma (EEE) with a C Licence Holder

Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.

Skills: Strong technical knowledge, and familiarity with hospital infrastructure systems.
