Mainframe Development and Support

As a Mainframe Development and Support professional at FIS, you will play a key role in ensuring the high availability and stability of one or more applications. Your responsibilities will include incident and problem analysis, change deployment, application performance monitoring, and development support. You will be part of a dynamic team that specializes in prepaid card management systems, focusing on card processing and issuing applications for prepaid cards. Your expertise in Mainframe technology will be essential in delivering end-to-end solutions for prepaid card operations. Your day-to-day tasks will involve installing, maintaining, and supporting application/source code and its components, as well as detecting, diagnosing, and resolving related problems. You will provide technical assistance to the programming staff, create and maintain documentation for application software support, and offer round-the-clock support for applications. Your solid experience in Mainframe Development and Enhancement, particularly in CICS, will be highly valued in this role. Additionally, your willingness to work in a support role and in rotational shifts will be essential for success in this position. If you have automation experience, familiarity with Incident Management tools like ServiceNow, or knowledge of financial services industry products such as Base2000, TBS, and P1C, it will be considered an added bonus.
