Role & responsibilities Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, and VSAM . Utilize Sort cards, Eazytrieve , and IBM Utilities for data processing and reporting. Work with job schedulers such as Control-M (CTLM) or CA7 to manage batch jobs. Participate in end-to-end deployment processes. Solid understanding of deployment processes and the ability to effectively support production support teams. Analyze and document the logic of existing programs and workflows. Troubleshoot and debug issues in a timely and efficient manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and support. Required Skills: Proficiency in JCL, COBOL, DB2, VSAM Experience with Sort utilities, Eazytrieve , and IBM Mainframe Utilities Familiarity with Control-M (CTLM) or any other job scheduler like CA7 Strong understanding of production support and deployment cycles Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills Ability to analyze and document existing code logic Good to Have: Knowledge of TOPAZ for mainframe development
