Mainframe DB2 Application Developer

The ideal candidate for the position of Mainframe DB2 - Application Development should possess 5 to 10 years of experience in Mainframe development. As an Independent Contributor, you will be expected to comprehend the existing code base, document the logic and flow, and analyze current modules and workflows. Your responsibilities will also include Cobol Development and providing assistance to fellow team members. Key Skills & Qualifications: - 5 to 8 years of experience in Mainframe development. - Proficiency in Cobol, UFO, CICS, JCL, and EZT. - Hands-on experience in Mainframe Development. Good to Have: - Previous exposure in Pharma, healthcare, or Retail domains. - Familiarity with SOA architecture. - Understanding of Database concepts. - Strong background in algorithms and data structures. Desirable: - Experience in Reverse Engineering. - Knowledge of Mainframe modernization. - Effective communication skills.
