Machine Learning Engineer

As an AI/ML Model Developer in this role, your core responsibility will be to build and optimize AI/ML models by leveraging Azure-based AI tools, TensorFlow, PyTorch, and similar frameworks. You will focus on the Logistics & Maritime industries, addressing complex business challenges using AI. Your expertise in cloud-based AI services for data storage, processing, and model deployment, with extensive use of Azure (and optionally AWS), will be crucial in this position. Your key responsibilities will involve designing, developing, and implementing machine learning algorithms. You will collaborate with business teams to translate requirements into technical AI/ML solutions, ensuring data quality for training models through data preprocessing. Using cloud tools like Azure/AWS, you will optimize models for high performance, perform training, tuning, and evaluation of models for continuous improvement. Staying updated on advancements in AI/ML, exploring new techniques, and providing data analysis & visualization to support business decision-making will be essential. You will also enhance existing products with AI-driven features such as automation, prediction, and recommendations while maintaining records for AI models, pipelines, and experiments. To qualify for this position, you should hold a Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering Science, Data Science, or a related field, along with 3-4 years of relevant AI/ML experience, preferably in Logistics and Maritime sectors. Key skills and technologies required include proficiency in programming languages like Python, R, or Java, expertise in machine learning techniques such as supervised/unsupervised learning, regression, classification, and clustering. Familiarity with AI frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn, and experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure tools for AI services are necessary. Specific experience with Logistics and Maritime products, along with additional skills in deep learning, NLP, and computer vision, will be advantageous. Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential soft skills for this role.
