Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

Organizing the logistics of the company for trading and import export business.
Negotiate, compare and obtain lowest possible freight and C&F cost for various destinations and ports.
Liaisoning and negotiating with local gadiwalas and sardars for local delivery in close coordination with warehouse team.
Monitor and check the GTA and CHA invoices
E- way bill generation for logistics movements
Co-ordinate with transporter to load materials from Mills & unload the same to party or warehouse smoothly
Monitor timely deliveries from port and ensuring 0 detention and minimal ground rent charges , truck detention etc
MIS report prepare in Excel
Approve and check logistics invoices, and monitor payments.
Ensuring DPD for port delivery as we are AEO operator at port.
Familiar with Liner cost structure for imports destination port, to monitor and take up with overseas vendors in case of high destination port charges for CIF import .

Preferred candidate profile:

Having work experience in commodity industry with logistic cooperation in preferrable.
