Key Responsibilities: Support lighting design from concept development through construction documentation. Use ParSpec to manage fixture schedules, generate cut sheets, and collaborate with manufacturers. Assist in the creation of lighting layouts, renderings, and photometric studies. Coordinate fixture selections and prepare presentations for internal and client-facing reviews. Work with senior designers and project managers to ensure technical accuracy and design integrity. Contribute to maintaining a well-organized fixture library and ParSpec database. Attend project meetings, vendor presentations, and site visits as required. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field. 15 years of relevant lighting design experience (internship or full-time). Experience using ParSpec for lighting specifications and schedules. Familiarity with lighting design software (e.g., AGi32, DIALux, or Revit for lighting layouts). Proficient in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and MS Office. Basic understanding of lighting standards (IES), codes, and energy regulations. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Exposure to LEED, WELL, or other sustainability frameworks. Interest in architectural detailing, control systems, and integration with interiors. Enthusiasm for new lighting technologies and continuing education.
