Learning and Development Trainer

As the Training Manager at SPAR Hypermarkets in India, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of store employees to drive sales, improve cashier efficiency, achieve customer excellence, and ensure overall operational excellence. Your responsibilities will include conducting various types of training for store employees, from induction and on-the-job training for new hires to regular sales and customer service trainings. You will be tasked with identifying and grooming in-store trainers, conducting in-store training activities, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs based on feedback received. Additionally, you will handle the Learning Management System (LMS), digital learning initiatives, and training dashboards to ensure continuous development and improvement. To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, coaching abilities, and proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint. Adaptability, collaboration, and execution excellence are key competencies required for this position. An MBA qualification, experience in the retail industry (preferably in food or hypermarkets), TTT certification, FSSAI certification, proficiency in multiple languages, and a willingness to travel are additional qualifications that would be advantageous. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits such as cell phone reimbursement, a flexible schedule, provided food, and health insurance.
