A successful candidate should hold a Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for advanced degrees. They should have at least 10 years of professional Java development experience, showcasing a strong background in backend system architecture and API design. Additionally, a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role managing diverse development teams and leading complex Java projects is required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in Java frameworks such as Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate, with an understanding of Apache Struts. They should possess solid expertise in core Java concepts like object-oriented programming, data structures, and complex algorithms. Knowledge in web technologies, including working with HTTP, RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML, is essential. Expertise in relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra is preferred.
