About The Role: Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced UI Team Lead to head our front-end development team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in modern front-end technologies, proven leadership skills, and a passion for building user-centric applications. This role requires a mix of hands-on development, mentorship, and strategic oversight. Responsibilities: Lead and manage a team of UI/Front-end developers, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products. Architect, design, and implement responsive, scalable, and maintainable user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as React and Next.js. Collaborate with product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers to transform requirements into user-friendly applications. Set technical direction and oversee the development process, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and performance optimization. Integrate and utilize GraphQL to enhance data fetching strategies and improve the performance and flexibility of web applications. Stay current with modern technologies, including TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and other CSS frameworks, to enhance development efficiency. Mentor and provide technical guidance to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct code reviews, implement performance improvements, and ensure application security standards are met. Drive the adoption of advanced tools and methodologies, such as server-side rendering (SSR) with Next.js and static site generation (SSG), to optimize the user experience. Manage and prioritize team tasks, allocate resources effectively, and resolve project issues as they arise. Qualifications: Bachelors or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or team lead role. Strong expertise in JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React and Next.js. Proficiency in TypeScript for building scalable and maintainable codebases. Experience with state management libraries (e.g., Redux, React Context API) and component-based architecture. Solid understanding and implementation of GraphQL for efficient and flexible data handling. Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and the ability to collaborate closely with design teams. Experience with modern CSS frameworks (e.g., Tailwind CSS, Styled Components) and pre-processing tools (e.g., SASS, LESS). Knowledge of performance optimization techniques for web and mobile applications, including lazy loading, code splitting, and progressive web app (PWA) development. Experience with front-end build tools and CI/CD practices (e.g., Webpack, Babel, Git, Jenkins). Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
